A small-town girl with big-time dreams, Excel always believed that nothing is impossible to those who want it bad enough. Somewhere along the way, however, she experiences the pangs of a failed romance, and is never quite the same person again.

As she forges on in her life, she encounters new romantic interludes, but is held back by the painful memory of her past. With each new experience, however, she inches further outside her shell, and finally takes a chance. But will she finally find true love this time? Or will it escape from her clutches again?
